What To Expect From Surgery Without An Effective

Anyone suffering from piles should do himself a favor and get an effective piles treatment that would cure the piles. An effective piles treatment can eliminate the need for surgery. Surgery is usually the last treatment option however; if the piles go untreated the doctor may have no other choice to relieve the pain associated with piles. Some situations where piles surgery may be recommended include the following:

Piles that bleed repeatedly
Prolapsed piles
Thrombosed piles
Severely painful piles

There are four typical options for surgical piles treatment. They are described as the following:

Infrared Coagulation

A technique in which abnormal tissue is exposed to a burst of infrared light (a type of radiation). This causes blood in veins in the tissue to coagulate (harden) and the abnormal tissue to shrink.

Hemorrhoidectomy

Occasionally, a severe case of hemorrhoids may require removal by surgery known as hemorrhoidectomy. Hemorrhoidectomy may be done with a standard scalpel or with an ultrasonic scalpel to cut away hemorrhoids (a method that does not require sutures). Another sutureless method involves staples. Tissue from further in the anus is used to close the wound with surgical staples after the hemorrhoids are removed.

Sclerotherapy

In sclerotherapy, there is an injection of a chemical irritant into a vein to harden it. The chemical irritates the lining of the vein, causing it to swell and the blood to clot. The vein turns into scar tissue that fades from view. Blood flow shifts to nearby healthy blood vessels.

Rubber Band Ligation

Rubber band ligation works by using a constricting band to stop the blood flow into the hemorrhoids, thus causing them to shrivel and fall off along with the band. This usually happens within 7 to 10 days.

As stated before, surgery should be the last resort to piles treatment. A better approach would be to choose a natural cure that gets rid of piles for good. If you are experiencing piles symptoms and want to take control of your own cure, click on the link to take control of your piles treatment.
